Every serviceable location in America, mapped and scored. Each square below is a neighborhood we’ve analyzed against official FCC availability data.
We show you what’s really available, not what providers pay us to show
On most comparison sites, providers can pay their way to the top of the list. We do the opposite: our rankings are based entirely on FCC data and real performance metrics.
Official FCC Data
We pull directly from the FCC’s National Broadband Map — the authoritative source providers are legally required to report to accurately.
Census-Block Precision
We analyze availability at the census-block level, the smallest geographic unit the FCC publishes — hyper-local accuracy for your exact address.
No Paid Rankings
Providers can’t pay for a better position on our pages. Recommendations are based on Speed Scores and coverage data — if a provider is #1, it’s because the data says so.
How our Speed Score works
Our Speed Score calculates how each provider’s speeds compare to all other options in your specific area. A score of 90 means faster speeds than 90% of alternatives at your location.

Why FindBetterInternet came to life

FindBetterInternet started with a simple frustration: every “comparison” site we tried felt like a ranking of who paid the most.
We built the site we wanted to use instead. Rankings come from the FCC’s National Broadband Map and our own Speed Score — placement on our pages can’t be bought. If a provider tops a page, it’s because the data put it there.
Every city guide is built from serviceable-location data at the census-block level, checked against the same availability records providers are legally required to file — so what you see is what’s actually offered at your address.
